With the theme\u00a0<b>\u201cGirls without limits, C\u00f3rdoba\u2019s future,\u201d<\/b>\u00a0a meeting was held in the C\u00f3rdoba Provincial Council between women who work in various professions and girls from a number of educational centers.<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The aim is to\u00a0<b>stimulate the professional aspirations, occupational expectations and self-esteem of girls<\/b> by drawing attention to the wide array of professions and jobs that exist. <b>Ten women professionals from various fields\u00a0<\/b>shared their\u00a0<b>professional experience<\/b>\u00a0with more than 80 female fourth-year ESO students through speed networking in which they interacted with participants and answered questions about their day-to-day work, barriers they have encountered, work-life balance, etc.<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This was followed by an institutional event attended by Marta P\u00e9rez Dorao,\u00a0<b>President of the Inspiring Girls Foundation,<\/b>\u00a0along with other institutional representatives and Auxiliadora L\u00f3pez Magdaleno, President of the Magtel Foundation.<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p>Some of the volunteers who participated in the C\u00f3rdoba project are Socorro Fern\u00e1ndez, Executive Director of the consulting firm Justnow; Celia Jim\u00e9nez, Head Chef and owner of Celia Jim\u00e9nez Restaurant; and Bel\u00e9n Recio, a Spanish athlete who competed 17 times internationally for her country.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Magtel Foundation has wanted to support this initiative as part of the commitment of its Board of Trustees towards equal opportunities. In addition to the Magtel Foundation, the local partners of Inspiring Girls in C\u00f3rdoba also include Pecomark, Grupo Puma, Aceitunas Torrent, Tressis, Nicava and York Tefl.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Inspiring Girls<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The foundation was created three years ago in the United Kingdom by a Spanish lawyer, Miriam Gonzalez Dur\u00e1ntez. Since then, more than 500,000 girls have participated in 50 events and learned from 25,000 volunteer professionals in the United Kingdom alone.
